We have implemented an online bar-coding system. We are very excited about this system and think that you will love the new capabilities that it brings. The online bar-coding system offers ease of use, plus a way for you to track your sales. You will find that it takes much less time to tag your items using the bar-coding software than the traditional hand-written tags.

Because we will be scanning at check-out we ask that everyone use the barcode system.

4 tags will print per page, they will be larger than the hand written tags.  If you choose "print alternate" it will print 6 to a page.

NOTE! We will not allow ANY mark throughs on tags!  AT DROP-OFF INSPECTION, ANY INCONSISTENCIES WILL HAVE TO BE RE-DONE BY YOU.

Please pay careful attention to your consignor number. Be sure not to transpose your numbers. We will not accept any items that have crossouts or scribbles on the tags. If you need to change something on a tag after you have it on the item, you must make a brand new tag for that item. We have a tagging supply table at drop-off near Inspection Central.

Please follow these instructions EXACTLY. Refer to illustrations on this page. Items must be prepared as indicated by tagging instructions.

USE ONLY white card stock

Red star in lower right corner of tag next to the price if you DO NOT want the item discounted. Red star tells the customer that the item is full price.
NO CROSSOUTS, WHITE OUTS OR TAPE OUTS OF ANY KIND ON TAGS

If you change any information on your tag it must be done by making a new tag!

Only Seasonal clothing will be accepted for this sale. Please inspect your items carefully at home-we will also inspect them at drop off. Clothes that are soiled, stained or with holes, will not be accepted. Just Between Friends reserves the right to deny any unacceptable items. We accept Girls sizes preemie thru size 16, Boys sizes preemie thru size 20 and both boys and girls teen/Junior size clothing. No Adult clothing accepted except maternity.

PRICING you set the price! Price to sell keeping in mind the quality, name brand and condition of your items. JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS suggests starting at 1/4 of the original price. We also suggest that you let your clothing items be included in the half price sales. Mark the starting price up if it is something that you are sentimental about, but of course, it is your decision if it is half price or not. Price your items in $1.00 or .50 cent increments. No .99 cents or other increments, please.

JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS will be conducting strict inspection of your items. Unacceptable items will be returned to you or we can donate it for you.

Use only one inch or larger safety pins to attach tag. No straight pins.
Attach safety pins side to side, horizontally on the card.
Pin clothing sets securely together with pants hung on the backside of the shirt and pinned at the waist on the hanger. Both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them. Pants hung on a separate hanger tend to come off the hanger and then get separated from the top.

Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more money $$$ for you. Items that are cleaned, ironed, and starched, with all pieces attached, and loose threads clipped, sell much better!!
